I get many calls from people that think that they have been in contact with me and they paid a deposit but their piglet was never delivered. I have been informed that there are a couple people out there that are using photos of me and my family and our piglets trying to be me and dragging my name into piglet scams. 

There are pet scams all over facebook and you have to be very careful because it’s very difficult to know. These people know what they are doing.

How can we avoid falling for a pet scam? What do we need to know so we are not falling for these and losing our hard earned money. What are the red flags to look for to know that we are dealing with a pet scammer?

• Are they a real business?
• Are they willing to talk on the phone with you?
• Are they willing to video chat with you with the piglets in the video?

• Are they asking for more and more money?

How can you know that you are actually talking to me and not a scammer impersonating me?

• I will only use my social media platforms to promote my piglets.
• I will only use my call phone number to talk or text with a family.
• I will never ask for more money and I will always facetime with families that want to.
